I am obsessed with all things hair and makeup and have been for quite some time. I began doing hair and makeup for friends throughout my adolescent years and that carried into high school, where I began to seriously consider making this my career. Who could have ever expected my journey to get this far, but here we are! Back in 2007, I took an intensive program that covered hair, makeup, and business management. Each year since I try to attend one master class with the industry’s elite to ensure that I’m staying up to date on the latest trends and techniques. Recently I attended Mario Dedivanovic’s Master Class in Toronto (Kim K’s MUA).
Wondering why we call it “The Natural Glam Blog”? When I think of hair and makeup, I think GLAM! But in the past, clients would describe my work as “natural”, which, if I’m being honest… use to make me cringe! Over time, I owned it and created the “natural glam” aesthetic that my clients have come to know and love. I have changed the way I think about what “natural” is because a natural look means something different for everyone.
So, what can you expect to see on my blog? Well, we are going to cover a few different things from real weddings and products we love, to tips and tricks for creating the perfect natural glam look. So stay tuned and I hope you enjoy it.
